The Law Offices of Jennifer R. Solomon is a modern day general practice that focuses on the interests of the client and achieving desired results.

Jennifer brings a background to her practice that is rare and uncommon in the practice of law these days. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara in three years with a degree in French, Jennifer spent the next three years exploring alternate professions, including wilderness guide in Yosemite National Park, Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and real estate appraiser.

Confirming that the law was indeed what she wanted to do, Jennifer attended the University of Oregon School of Law where she focused on disability law, participating in both the Social Security clinic as well as the public defender clinic, where she tried one criminal case to verdict and obtained a not guilty verdict on the most serious charge. She graduated in 1998 and upon receiving her bar results that November, Jennifer embarked on a world journey that began domestically and concluded with her traveling to 32 countries in 18 months by herself.

Returning to the United States in 2001, Jennifer then spent almost a decade working as a trial lawyer for large insurance companies. That experience gives her an insight into cases, as well as true and tested jury trial experience, something that many lawyers do not have. She can view and analyze your case from the perspective of a defense lawyer to flesh out the weaknesses and problems that might arise. Using that knowledge, she can help you receive the largest settlement possible.

Jennifer also brings compassion and understanding to the pain you are suffering, having grown up with a mother who had polio and now suffers from post-polio syndrome.

When Jennifer opened her own law practice, she had many clients with multiple needs that went beyond personal injury and Social Security Disability. As such, she began representing clients in their estate planning needs, after seeing too many cases go to litigation after a loved one passed away. She also began helping clients in their criminal matters when they were charged with crimes they may or may not have committed, which allowed her to continue her joy of being in a courtroom.

In her spare time, Jennifer can be found on the sidelines where she coaches multiple soccer teams, or camping or snowboarding in the non-soccer seasons. She lives in the East Bay with her Dutch husband, whom she picked up in Damascus, Syria, on that round the world trip and their three moderately well-behaved children, backyard chickens and a couple of bee hives.
